We create a secure vault that only opens for your trusted contacts if something happens to you. Until then, it stays private—even we can't see it.
ArkVault is a failsafe for your digital life. It ensures your assets are passed on securely if something happens to you, while keeping them 100% private today.
You enter secrets here. They are encrypted on your device using a key only you have. We never see the raw data.
We generate a special Recovery Key. You must give this to your trusted contact securely. It is the only way to open the vault.
You check in periodically (e.g. monthly). As long as you are active, the vault stays locked tight.
If you stop checking in, we assume the worst and allow your trusted contact to use their key to unlock the vault.
Follow these two steps to secure your vault.
Add a personal message, instructions, or notes for your trusted contact. This will be revealed only after they successfully unlock the vault. You can edit this later.
We will send the unlock instructions to these addresses only if the inactivity timer expires. You can edit this later.
Learn more about vault recoveryPut all your sensitive information here (passwords, seeds, keys). This data is encrypted on your device before it is ever sent to us. This means ArkVault never has access to what you type here. This cannot be changed after the vault is created.
Learn more about our encryptionA passphrase adds a second layer of protection on top of the Recovery Key. Think of it like a PIN on a bank card — the card alone isn't enough. Your trusted contact will need both the Recovery Key and this passphrase to unlock the vault. This is useful when you want to share the Recovery Key now but only reveal the passphrase through a separate channel (e.g. a sealed letter, a phone call, or a password manager). Important: if the passphrase is forgotten or lost, the vault is permanently unrecoverable — not even ArkVault can help. This cannot be changed after the vault is created.
